Stella Maris commemorative stamps which were issued by the Vatican on 10 September 2020, depict the traditional iconography of Stella Maris and reproduce three sailors on a boat in fear of the sudden storm, as they invoke the Virgin Mary.
The design is completed by the logo of Stella Maris, consisting of an anchor intertwined with a life preserver with the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the centre. These special stamps celebrate 100 years of the international charity, Stella Maris, formerly known as the Apostleship of the Sea.
